How We Give Back

Our handmade rattle dolls are made exclusively by Pebble Child under the Hathay Bunano Proshikan Society (HBPS), a non-profit organization and a member of the World Fair Trade Organisation. Our dolls are made by disadvantaged mothers in rural Bangladesh who would traditionally find it difficult to secure jobs. The training, materials, and support are provided free of charge by the organization, allowing these women the flexibility to achieve financial independence. J Life Foundation Limited

J Life Foundation Limited was registered as a charity in 2013 with a vision to mitigate cross generational poverty in Sham Shui Po and neighbouring areas. With a focus on food distribution and education, the foundation strives to empower future generations in underprivileged communities. During the early stages of the pandemic, there was a critical shortage of masks for children, causing fear among parents. In response, we launched a mask donation initiative. For every mask purchased from us, we donate an equal number of masks to J Life to protect the health of children in need. The Refugee Union in Hong Kong provides support to the 14,000 refugees residing there who lack basic rights and face limited opportunities. These asylum seekers are denied the right to work, access to bank accounts, and proper identification. Sadly, many have given birth to children in Hong Kong who will also never receive residency due to their parents’ status. Currently, The Refugee Union has over 500 children and 40 infants under 4 years old as members. As a brand that champions humanity, we have teamed up with the Refugee Union to drive donations.
